Terms of Service

What Laureo provides, what a purchase actually buys, and the limits of what exam preparation can promise.

In effect from 19 August 2026

1.Who you are contracting with

Laureo is operated by Filippe Frulli, a sole trader established in Ireland, trading from Apartment C127, Newmarket Yards, D08C3XR, Dublin. There is no company: the individual named here is the trader and the party responsible under these terms.

You can reach us at filippefrulli.dev@gmail.com. This is the address for support, for questions about these terms, and for the notices described below.

The price you see is the total you pay. No tax, fee or surcharge is added at checkout. If that ever changes we will update this page before it takes effect.

2.What Laureo is, and what it is not

Laureo is an independent study tool for the EPSO CAST reasoning tests. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to EPSO, the European Personnel Selection Office, or any institution of the European Union. Nothing here is official EPSO material or official guidance.

Every practice question is originally written or procedurally generated. No question is reproduced or derived from a real EPSO paper. What we reproduce is the published format, timing and scoring structure of the exam, not its content.

We follow the current CAST structure as we understand it, but your own EPSO invitation is always the authoritative source for timings, question counts and pass marks. If the two disagree, believe your invitation.

Practising here does not guarantee that you will pass, be shortlisted, or be recruited. We make no promise about your result. See clause 10.

3.Your account

Practice requires a free account, created with Google or with an email address and password. The account keeps your progress, history and streak attached to you rather than to a browser.

Accounts are personal and for one individual. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at filippefrulli.dev@gmail.com if you believe it has been used without your permission.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Laureo is aimed at adults preparing for EU recruitment procedures and is not directed at children.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it removes your practice history along with the account. Deleting an account does not refund a purchase and does not restore paid access if you sign up again.

4.What is free

Unlimited practice questions in all three kinds, with no daily cap, and the full timed mock test scored against both CAST gates are free to use with a free account. Every question you answer is marked immediately and shows you the correct option. Your streak, accuracy and weak-tag summary are free.

These remain free, and unlimited free practice is the part of this we consider load bearing: we do not intend to introduce a daily question cap, a paywalled mock, or adverts. This is our policy and how we intend to operate; it is not a warranty that the service itself will exist forever (see clause 9).

The worked explanations moved to Pro on 21 August 2026. They were previously free, and an earlier version of these terms said we did not intend to move anything out of the free tier. We did, and this clause says so rather than quietly dropping the sentence. Accounts that held Pro before that date are unaffected; free accounts keep everything listed above.

5.What is paid, and what a purchase grants

Paid access — “Pro” — currently unlocks the worked explanation shown after you answer a question, and the mistake bank: a drill that serves back the exact questions you most recently answered wrong. Pro features may be added over time. Buying Pro does not entitle you to any particular future feature.

There are two ways to buy it, and both are one-time payments:

  • The 30 day pass (€9.99) — Pro access for 30 days from the moment payment completes.
  • Lifetime (€39.99) — Pro access with no expiry date, as defined in clause 6.

Neither is a subscription. Nothing renews, nothing recurs, and you will never be charged again for a purchase you have already made. There is no cancellation step because there is nothing to cancel: a pass simply lapses when its term ends.

Buying a second pass while one is still running extends it — the new term is added to the time you have left, not substituted for it. Buying a pass when you already hold lifetime access does not shorten or replace it.

Prices are charged in euro, and the price shown is the total you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects a purchase you have already completed.

6.What "lifetime" means

“Lifetime” is a one-time payment for Pro access with no expiry date. It is not a promise that Laureo will operate indefinitely, and it does not refer to your lifetime.

It means: for as long as we continue to operate Laureo as a service of this kind, and for as long as your account exists, your Pro access will not expire and you will not be asked to pay again for what it covered at the time of purchase.

If we ever discontinue the service, lifetime access ends with it. We would give at least 30 days’ notice by email to the address on the account before closing the service, and we would offer a pro-rata refund to anyone who bought lifetime access in the 12 months before that notice. Deleting your own account ends your access immediately and is not refundable (clause 3).

7.Payment, and your right to withdraw

Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for these sales and is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable VAT. We never receive or store your card details, and you are charged the price shown and nothing more.

Pro access is granted immediately once payment succeeds, and you keep your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law regardless. We do not ask you to waive it in exchange for instant access, although a trader supplying digital content immediately is entitled to. Email us within 14 days of buying and we refund in full, for any reason or none.

How to ask, and the situations in which we refund beyond those 14 days, are set out on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.

8.Acceptable use

Laureo is licensed to you for your own personal exam preparation. You may not:

  • copy, scrape, bulk-download, republish, sell or redistribute the questions, answers or explanations, in whole or in part;
  • use automated means to access the service, extract its content, or generate practice sessions;
  • share, resell or transfer your account or your Pro access to anyone else, or use one account for several people;
  • attempt to bypass payment, grant yourself Pro access, or interfere with how entitlements are checked;
  • probe, overload or disrupt the service or the infrastructure it runs on, or attempt to access data that is not yours.

The questions, explanations, generators, text and design of Laureo are our intellectual property or licensed to us. Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use them for study, and nothing more.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this clause. Where a breach is serious or deliberate — bulk extraction of the question bank, or circumventing payment — we may do so without refund.

9.Availability and changes

We aim to keep Laureo available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen.

We may change, add or remove features, and we may change these terms. If a change to these terms materially reduces what you have paid for, we will give notice by email to the address on the account before it takes effect. Continuing to use Laureo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

If a sustained fault means Pro access does not work for a meaningful part of a paid term, contact us — clause 4 of the refund policy covers that.

10.Liability

Laureo is study material, not advice. We are not liable for exam results, recruitment outcomes, missed deadlines, or decisions you take based on practice performance here. You are responsible for checking your EPSO invitation for the real format, timings and pass marks.

Where we are liable to you for a paid purchase, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence. If any clause here conflicts with those rights, those rights win and the rest of these terms continue to apply.

11.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.

If something has gone wrong, please email filippefrulli.dev@gmail.com first — most problems are a misunderstanding or a bug, and we would rather fix it than argue about it. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
