Who makes Laureo
Laureo is made by one person (me). So before you spend time on it, you deserve to know why you can trust both me and the software I wrote.
My name is Filippe. I am a software engineer based in Dublin, and I’ve been building Laureo on my own for a few months now.
I am not a test publisher and I have never worked at EPSO. I started this because of the price. Almost every site I found sells you questions: a hundred questions for one price, five hundred for more. I never understood that. Practice questions are the one thing a computer can make all day. Selling them by the pack means the people with the least money get the least practice, on an exam that decides a real job.
That seemed unfair.
So I decided the questions would be free and unlimited, with no packs and no daily cap, and then set about making them good. I read every sample test EPSO has published, worked out how those questions are put together, and wrote a program that builds new ones the same way. The program checks each question before it is kept.
One thing is worth making clear. The abstract and numerical questions are made by an algorithm, not by AI. No hallucinations, just strict rules and repeated checks.
That is the whole story. There is no team, no office and no exam board behind this. What there is instead is a method written down in public, and questions that had to pass it. Practising costs you nothing. If you ever do pay, it is for the worked explanations and the mistake drills, never for more questions.
